THE TOTAL SAVER
HOW IT WORKS
CALCULATE YOUR SAVINGS
Introduction to the Total Saver
The Total Saver is a power saving device that is hard-wired into your electrical system. It stops you paying for power that you are unable to use.
Prior to privatisation (late 1980's) power companies were legally obliged to test the efficiency of a businesses power consumption. Since the law change power companies are quite happy for you to consume more power than you need to.
Our business is proudly 100% Kiwi owned and we are busy with international expansion plans. We are completely independent and have no affiliations with any power companies.
We are now rolling out the Total Saver nationwide. We are currently in over 100 sites from retailers to manufacturers.
Back flow power is a law of physics that can't be altered. It is common to all power supplies where magnets are used to induce the molecules to move - this is electricity.
Then, two things happen. The first is that the electricity is turned into mechanical power (motors, etc.) The second is that the motors, lights, computers, etc produces a secondary current.
That secondary current is back flow power that is like having a kink in your water hose. It restricts the flow and puts pressure back on to the tap, in this case the transformer.
When back flow power reaches the transformer it effectively increases the power companies maintenance costs, which they will then pass on to you.
The Total Saver cancels out back flow power so that it is kept out of your electrical system and you are no longer billed for it.
With back flow power almost eliminated, your system no longer needs to draw extra power to counter it, which reduces your consumption.
The Total Saver also stops power surges and spikes that can damage your equipment and affect productivity.
